Last summer, singer Randy Travis was arrested in Tioga, Texas on suspicion of DWI. His arrest made headlines not because Travis has been tearing up the singles charts lately, but because he was, um, well, naked at the time.

The bizarre saga came to a conclusion late last month when Travis pleaded guilty to DWI. He was given a 180-day jail sentence, but it was suspended. He was ordered to pay $2,000 in fines.

He is also going to have to go to a rehabilitation facility for at least 28 days and is going to have to use an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he drives.

Travis crashed into a construction site last Aug. 7. Authorities were summoned to the scene by a caller who said there was a disoriented, nude man lying in the road near the accident site. That man turned out to be Travis, whom police later determined had a blood-alcohol content level of 0.21, which is almost three times the legal limit of 0.08. Police later said Travis was "belligerent."

In a news conference after his sentencing, Travis thanked the officers who helped him that night. He also thanked the court for the courtesy it showed him and said he was eager to put the whole affair behind him.
